I've been tagged

A fellow blogger and adoptive mom, Amy (http://catching-butterflies.blogspot.com/)in Germany, "tagged" me with this question,

"What is your comfort food? If you needed something to help you calm down or just reminisce what foods would help you do this?"

How about a comfort beverage? I love a hot cup of tea with a lot of honey and any kind of carb to go with it! Muffins are ideal, but I rarely have muffins around (or I'd be as big as a house).

I've been drinking a lot of echinacea (sp?) tea because I have a cold. And I'm still trying to get used to the boat load of tea I bought in China. Some of the tea is good, but I haven't been able to get a good formula for the jasmine tea so it doesn't taste like toilet water.

I had a particularly crazy day this week (cranky kids/cranky mom) and I was able to sit amidst mahem and sip my tea and slip off to my "happy place" in my head. Ahh...

Tea anyone?

I'm not sure what the rules are to this game of tag, but I think I'll tag both of my sisters since they are new to blogging this week! Tracy (http://www.bkeeping.blogspot.com/) and Michele(http://spartans3088.blogspot.com/), you've been tagged!

I wish they were both here to have a cup of tea with me!! Hot drinks (coffee and hot cocoa) are all good for comfort, but they're best shared with a friend/sister/mother over a long talk!

UPDATE: Okay, I just read Amy's post and apparently I'm to share a recipe! I'll have to come back to that later. And I'm supposed to tag five people, so I'll have to add some more later. It's now morning here and the girls are up.

HELP! Does anyone know why my links aren't working?? Ever since I changed my blog-lift they don't work and I can't figure out why!

1 incredible comments!:

I love tea in the afternoons and coffee in the morning. I love all kinds of tea, green tea, black tea, fruit tea, spice tea. I drink allot of tea! We can buy Echinacea in capsules here. Green tea is very high in anti oxidants. That is easier to swallow. Black tea has natural antibiotics. Black tea looses its oxidants when you put milk in it. I just found that out.
Are you blogging in Beta or the old blogger? That might have something to do with it!
