Chinese New Year and Kai Lan Pajama Party!

Party, Party, Party! It seems that's all we do these days. Today we had another good reason to party. We'd been anxiously awaiting the premiere of Nick Jr.'s "Ni Hao, Kai Lan" for almost a year, so naturally we had to have a party and watch it with friends! It's also the first day of the Chinese New Year, so we had a little Chinese lunch and the girls played while the moms talked.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of pictures because I was doing the cooking, and I didn't realize that the camera was on some strange mode, so the photos I did take were fuzzy. Thankfully Teresa, my photographer friend, was there so I may share those when she passes them on to me.

Kai Lan (with the very non-Chinese eyes - you were right, Tracy) and friends.

The girls in their pajamas and engrossed in Kai Lan.

It was fun listening to some of the lunch conversation. Miyah is appropriately dressed as a dragon.

Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Looks like a great time!!! I noticed the eyes back when they started talking about it (last summer) Why didn't they make her look more like June from Little Einsteins?? It is a fun show though : )

You are so blessed to be near folks that have also adopted. It looks like they had fun! Super idea!

We enjoyed this show, too. Paige got into it (which I was surprised since she is older). It reminds me a lot of Dora. Looks like you all had a great time.
