Harvest Time Fun

Today we experienced a little of what nineteenth century harvest time was like at a local antebellum plantation.
~~~
Who knew candle dipping took so much patience. I think the kids would have stood there a long time, but we had to settle for a tiny birthday candle size because others were waiting in line.
I think the llama sensed Miyah's love for animals. The pottery guy (I'm sure there's a better name for him) was very interesting. I love the copycatting-hands on hips.
I'm pretty sure nineteenth century children didn't find these chores as exciting as my children did.
Miyah helped the blacksmith.
I think the kids actually had the most fun playing in the leaves. I LOVE FALL!
Great pics! And I have a question...
I've had your Kunming Orphanage slideshow saved as a favorite for over a year now...we have a daughter from there as well. I can't figure out how to save the pictures. Can you help?
